My name is Deanna Floyd and I am currently a student at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.  Blue Salt is a project curated to satisfy my internship with WOAR (Women Organized Against Rape), a sexual assault crisis center based in Philadelphia.

Blue Salt formed from my own experiences living as a woman of color daring to define life for herself.  Through Blue Salt I created the validation I, and so many other women like myself crave but don't often receive.
